How To Enable CentOS 8 PowerTools Repo

The PowerTools repo may be required for some packages in the EPEL Repo.  Below are instructions on how to enable it.

    1. Log in to the server and switch to the root user
    2. Edit the PowerTools repo file
      # vim /etc/yum.repos.d/CentOS-PowerTools.repo

  1. Change enabled=0 to enabled=1
  2. Save and close the file
  3. The PowerTools repo is now enabled
  4. You may also enable the repo with dnf tools:
    # dnf config-manager --set-enabled PowerTools
